NEW MILFORD, NJ - On a very windy March 7th, those winds were the cause of an electrical wire to drop on to a parked car on Berkley St. in New Milford. PSE&G was notified, but the response was “Within the hour”. Companies staged a slight distance away and dry lines were laid in anticipation. The wires and car continued to arc as members stood by. PSE&G arrived in approximately 30 minutes, but the damage was done. Two lines were operated to extinguish the flames. A car parked close by received heat damage to the rear hatch. No Injuries were reported.
