Vehicle Fire on Bushendorf Road in Coeymans Hollow Draws Multi-Agency Response

COEYMANS HOLLOW, NY - At around 6:30 p.m. on February 27th, the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Co. responded to a reported vehicle fire near 134 Bushendorf Road. Dispatch reported that a vehicle and some nearby trees were on fire.
Car 6-01 arrived first and confirmed a fully involved car fire with fuel burning, prompting a call for more personnel. Rescue 6-10 and Engine 6-20 deployed a handline to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for almost two hours to cool the vehicle, aid the towing firm, and clean up the roads. There were no injuries reported.
The Ravena Rescue Squad, the Albany County Sheriff's Office EMS Division, and the Town of Coeymans Police Department all assisted at the scene.
