Baldwin Fire Department Responds to Late-Night House Fire on Cramer Court

Baldwin, NY - Just before midnight on Valentine’s Day, units from the Baldwin Fire Department responded to the scene of a working house fire on Cramer Court in North Baldwin.


All operations were conducted under the command of Chief of Department Michael Parise, with Deputy Chiefs Benedict and Sotomayor supervising interior firefighting operations.


Mutual aid assistance was provided by neighboring departments from Rockville Centre, South Hempstead, Freeport, Roosevelt, and Oceanside. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.


Fortunately, no injuries were reported.


Following the suppression of the fire, the scene was turned over to the Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office, which will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.


The Baldwin Fire Department also expressed its appreciation to the assisting mutual aid departments and the Nassau County Police Department for their support at the scene.
