Palmyra Crews Respond to House Fire on Route 31

Palmyra, NY — March 1st — The Palmyra Fire Department was summoned around 9:45 a.m. to a reported house fire on Route 31. Port Gibson and Newark Fire Departments were among the first units to react. As the event progressed, more mutual help resources were asked to support operations. The East Palmyra Fire Department and the Clifton Springs Fire Department were contacted for assistance. The Manchester Fire Department responded as the Rapid Intervention Team, while the Oaks Corners Fire Department offered rehabilitative support to firemen on the scene.
