Crews Rescue Occupants in Town of Scott MVC

On February 13, at approximately 10:21 a.m., the Homer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with suspected entrapment near 6387 Route 41 in the Town of Scott. Firefighters arrived to find two occupants trapped inside the vehicle. Crews worked quickly to extricate both the driver and passenger, completing the rescue in approximately 13 minutes.

TLC Ambulance transported both individuals to the hospital for assessment. Firefighters remained on scene to secure the area and assist with traffic control during the incident. All Homer units had vacated the site, and Route 41 was fully reopened by 1:00 p.m.
