Brookhaven, NY - The Brookhaven Fire department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire that was threatening nearby vehicles and located close to a residence. The in-house duty crew responded promptly and was able to quickly extinguish the fire before it could spread or cause damage to other vehicles or the nearby home.

Engine 2, Rescue 4, and the Chiefs handled the incident efficiently and were back in service within the hour.
