WATERBURY, CT - At 6:00 P.M.on Wednesday, February 15th, the Waterbury Fire Department held a promotional ceremony and then the fire academy graduation for recruit class 22-15. The event was held at the Kennedy High School on Highland Avenue. Seventeen recruits completed the firefighting portion, and 11 of them also took an EMT class since they did not already have it. One recruit is currently deployed with the United States Air Force in the Middle East and we wish him a safe return.
