Monticello, GA — February 3rd — Training on vehicle stabilization and extrication techniques was held Tuesday night by Jasper County Fire Rescue in Monticello, Georgia, USA. Using a truck on its side, crews practiced coordinated access to simulated patients, scene safety, and stabilization.
Communication, danger control, and the employment of rescue instruments in poor light were the main areas of evolution. In addition to strengthening coordination during difficult reactions, night training equips firemen for incidents that frequently happen after dark. According to officials, frequent practical training enhances responders' and patients' safety, strengthens standard operating procedures, and supports preparedness. To keep staff members ready to collaborate with mutual aid partners, the department conducts weekly training.
