Traffic Disrupted After Two-Vehicle Crash on Lincoln Way East at I-81

February 25, 2026 — The Franklin Fire Company responded alongside EMS personnel to an afternoon motor vehicle accident on Lincoln Way East near the Interstate 81 interchange, temporarily disrupting traffic for approximately one hour. Squad 41 arrived on scene to secure the area and address a minor fluid leak from one of the involved vehicles, while EMS crews evaluated occupants and transported one individual to a local hospital with minor injuries. Fire police personnel directed traffic around the scene to maintain safety for responders and motorists as cleanup and investigation activities were completed. Traffic flow was restored once vehicles were removed and roadway hazards were mitigated.
