February 25, 2026 — Units from the Franklin Fire Company were dispatched just after 9:00 a.m. to a reported mobile home fire in the Mickey Inn Trailer Park as part of the 44-02 box assignment. Upon arrival, Greene 1 reported visible fire conditions, confirming an active working fire. Engine 45 and Engine 15 from West End Shipp arrived simultaneously and immediately initiated fire attack operations. Crews were able to quickly place water on the fire, slowing its progression and working to bring the blaze under control. Firefighters remained on scene for approximately two hours conducting suppression, overhaul, and ensuring no further extension. No additional details regarding injuries or the cause of the fire were immediately released.
