Tiverton, RI - On 4th February , the Tiverton Fire Department was dispatched to 405 Nanaquaket Road for a reported electrical fire, while crews were still responding to an earlier incident on the Route 24 on-ramp.

First-arriving units observed moderate smoke coming from the front entrance and light smoke rising from the second floor. Upon further investigation, firefighters determined that the source of the smoke was an active fire in the basement of the residence.

Crews immediately initiated an interior attack, quickly locating the seat of the fire. Thanks to their prompt and coordinated efforts, the blaze was rapidly extinguished, preventing further damage to the home. No injuries were reported, and the situation was brought under control swiftly.
