Providence, RI - Around 7:15 a.m. in the morning of Ist February, Tanker 61 responded to a mutual aid request from the Town of Glocester for a barn fire on Putnam Pike. The crew assisted with overhaul and fire extinguishment, while the driver supported the water shuttle operation. First-arriving companies reported a fully involved 100-by-35-foot barn with exposure concerns. Seven members operated on the scene for approximately two hours.
