During high-rise night drills on February 5, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue collaborated with Pinellas County fire departments to improve operational readiness and coordination. Crews practiced incident command, ladder placement, aerial operations, and victim rescue in a multi-agency setting. The training also includes post-rescue patient care, with firemen going through a full cardiac arrest scenario and SynoKit therapy to practice advanced life support abilities. Officials stated that the combined evolution improved communication, teamwork, and response capabilities amid complicated high-rise crises.
