DUNEDIN, FL — January 31st — Dunedin Fire Rescue thanked Isaacs Fabrication and Welding for contributing two complete sets of landing zone light pads to support emergency operations. The custom-built equipment will be utilized by medical helicopter operators to swiftly establish a safe and clearly indicated landing place. The landing zone system comprises fluorescent pads with magnetically installed LED flashing lights, which help pilots to quickly identify the area from the air, particularly at night or in low-visibility conditions. According to officials, the extra capacity increases safety for patients, aircraft crews, and first responders on the scene.
