February 16, 2026 — It is with profound sadness that Angelica Fire and Rescue announced the passing of longtime member Firefighter James Gallman. Gallman dedicated 59 years of service to the department and the Angelica community, holding numerous roles throughout his tenure, including Assistant Fire Chief and Fire Police. Known for his loyalty, leadership, and unwavering commitment, he remained an active and respected member of the organization for nearly six decades. His contributions left a lasting impact on the department and the many lives he touched through his service. Department members expressed their heartfelt condolences to his family and honored his legacy of dedication and community pride.
