February 3, 2026 – The Bendersville Community Fire Department has announced that it will host its second community blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Bendersville Community Fire Company Community Hall, located at 144 Park Street, Bendersville, PA. The blood drive is open to the public, and appointment slots remain available. Officials emphasize that the need for blood is constant, with someone nationwide requiring a unit of blood every two to three seconds. Since most individuals will need blood at some point in their lifetime, volunteer donors play a critical role in meeting this ongoing demand. Each unit of donated blood has the potential to help up to three people. Community members are encouraged to schedule an appointment using the link provided by the department and to share the information with others who may be interested in donating. Those with questions are invited to contact the department for additional details.
