SYLVANIA, GA — February 13th — Firefighters from all around the area came together for advanced training at the Screven County Fire Department, 618 Frontage Rd W, Sylvania, GA, United States, for a four-day Georgia Public Safety Training Center Live Fire Instructor course. Fire behavior, firefighter safety, teaching methods, and overseeing live fire operations in controlled settings were the main topics of the training.

The program was successfully completed by nine department members, enhancing the agency's capacity for training and fostering regional collaboration. In order to improve firefighter readiness and achieve national criteria, live fire instructor development is still crucial. According to officials, spending money on trained teachers fosters safer instruction, reliable operations, and more robust departments, all of which eventually benefit the communities they serve across the area.
