Pooler Fire-Rescue personnel on January 16 responded to 280 Blue Moon Crossing after a water flow incident was upgraded to a structural fire. Engines 604, 601, 605, Trucks 601, 602, and Battalion Chief 601 were dispatched as troops were returning from a previous incident in Bloomingdale. When crews arrived, they discovered that the fire had been contained by two activated sprinkler heads. The fire started from a pot left on the stove. Firefighters managed the water flow, performed an overhaul, and finished property conservation procedures in the impacted apartment and units below.
