Mutual Aid Supports Quick Control

EASTANOLLEE, GA — January 30th — A reported structure fire was responded to by the Eastanollee Fire Department in Eastanollee, Georgia, USA. After 13 minutes, crews arrived on the scene and found that the house was emitting moderate amounts of smoke. In roughly fifteen minutes, firefighters used an internal attack to put out the fire.
The Big Smith Fire Department and the Martin Fire Department offered mutual aid. It was found that the fire originated in the kitchen and was contained there, preventing additional damage to the building. There were no reported injuries. The favorable conclusion was attributed by officials to the quick response, well-coordinated actions, and effective agency communication. Residents are encouraged to practice their house escape plans and keep their smoke alarms in working order.
