NEW BRITAIN, CT - One person was rescued by members of Ladder 1 from a basement apartment fire at 44 Capitol Avenue on February 16th.
The fire at the Capitol View Apartments was quickly extinguished in around 10 minutes. The person rescued was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, and another person was treated at the scene.
The cause is under investigation.
