Ambridge Fire Department Lists Engine 71-3 for Sale on Municibid

February 15, 2026 — The Ambridge Fire Department announced that Engine 71-3 will be actively listed for sale on Municibid beginning tomorrow. The 1993 Pierce/International engine has been a reliable apparatus for nearly a decade and represents a solid option for departments seeking a first-out or reserve engine.
Engine 71-3 is being sold as part of the department’s fleet update after placing an order for a new Pierce engine in 2025. This unit is one of two being replaced by the incoming apparatus.
