Panama City Fire Department Honors Members at Awards Ceremony

The Panama City Fire Department held their annual awards ceremony at Fire Station 1 to honor members and people for their dedication, service, and contributions to public safety. The event brought together department personnel, families, and community supporters to celebrate the work done this year.

Captain Eric Vossen was awarded a 20-Year Service Recognition. Engineer Eric Ponce was honored with the Attendance Award, while Amanda Stiffler received the Community Service Award. Engineer Jake Taylor and Firefighter Oscar Vega won the Meritorious Service Award. Gage and Gracie Lang were presented with the Citizen Community Life Saving Award. Captain Eric Vossen, Engineer Patrice Chery, and Firefighter Oscar Vega were presented with the Life Saving Award, while Engineer John Gore received the Distinguished Service Award. Department leaders noted the importance of recognizing teamwork, professionalism, and strong community partnerships.
