BAKER COUNTY, FL — February 3rd — Baker County Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire in the 10,000 block of Persimmon Road overnight. Firefighters arrived to find a detached garage completely engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to other surrounding exposures.

Crews quickly deployed handlines and worked to protect the residence while conducting suppression operations. As operations to effectively extinguish the fire lasted many hours, additional resources were sent in to assist with water delivery, overhaul, and scene assistance.
