At 6:03 p.m. on January 30, the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department responded to a second alarm call for a reported structure fire in the Village of Granville. Engine 582 responded with a crew to assist with fire suppression and water supply operations in collaboration with other regional agencies.
The Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department supplied station coverage for both districts during the incident to ensure emergency preparedness. Officials stated that coordinated mutual aid and coverage are critical in guaranteeing continued protection while teams are focused on working flames. West Pawlet units remained on the scene for more than two hours until being discharged around 8:19 p.m.
