West Pawlet Tanker Assists at Salem Structure Fire

On January 28, at 1:24 p.m., the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department provided mutual aid to a reported residential structure fire on Main Street in the Village of Salem. Tanker 583 responded to the area to assist with water supply operations, while Engine 582 shifted to the Salem Fire Station to offer district coverage throughout the event.

Multiple agencies from the region assisted with firefighting and support activities. According to officials, coordinated responses and coverage assignments help to preserve emergency readiness while teams are focused on battling fires. West Pawlet units remained in service throughout the afternoon and were released about 5:54 p.m.
