January 19th — Windham, NH — At 11:37 a.m., the Windham Fire Department, Emergency Management, and Windham Police responded to a reported motor vehicle collision involving a building on #1B Wall Street. Police came first and established that the vehicle did not penetrate the structure.
With one ambulance already assigned to another incident, a reduced staffing response was dispatched. Command, an engine company, and EMS personnel evaluated the driver while fire crews checked the building for structural damage. The vehicle appeared to have jumped the curb, traveled between the building and a support pillar, and returned to the parking lot. Investigators discovered only minor cosmetic damage, including some inside sheetrock damage beneath a window. The driver was not hurt and denied medical treatment. The store's owner was alerted, and Windham Police are investigating.
