SOUTH OLD BRIDGE, NJ - On February 9, 2026, Monroe Township Fire District #3 responded to assist the South Old Bridge Vol. Fire Company with a report of multiple vehicles on fire. Tanker 23, staffed by A Platoon, was dispatched into South Old Bridge as part of a coordinated mutual aid response.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered several vehicles engulfed in flames in a parking area, with heavy smoke and fire conditions requiring an aggressive suppression effort. Crews deployed hand lines to contain and extinguish the blaze, working quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to additional vehicles or nearby exposures.
The incident was brought under control without reported injuries, and units remained on scene to ensure complete extinguishment and overhaul operations.
