Two-Hour Operation Brings Bridgton Blaze Under Control

BRIDGTON, ME — January 24th — At 11:48 p.m., Chief 801, Engines 82 and 83, and a six-person crew from Harrison Fire & Rescue responded to Pond Road in Bridgton for a reported structure fire. Crews worked in temperatures below zero, encountering frozen hydrants and equipment issues. Despite the conditions, firefighters collaborated with Bridgton teams to construct a water supply to execute interior suppression operations. The fire was brought under control within two hours. There were no injuries recorded.
