On January 28, Niverville Fire Department Inc. responded with Car 1 and Engine 45-13 to a working vehicle fire in the South Schodack Fire District. At the time of call, the car was believed to be around two feet away from a dwelling. Crews swiftly secured the situation and utilized tow ropes to move the truck away from the structure, preventing the fire from spreading. Firefighters from South Schodack, Nassau, and Niverville worked together to put out the fire and safeguard the residence. Tanker 45-35 stayed in position for coverage but was not required on the scene.
