January 11, 2026 — The Bridgehampton Fire Department formally welcomed its 2026 leadership team during the Board of Commissioners’ annual reorganization meeting held Wednesday evening. Dillon Berkoski was sworn in as Chief (7-2-30), joined by First Assistant Chief Zach Broadmeadow (7-2-31) and Second Assistant Chief Richard “Rick” Balserus (7-2-32). Also taking the oath of office were Treasurer Harry Halsey, Deputy Treasurer Jenn Dupree, and Secretary Carol Kalish. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new year of service and leadership for the department, with family members, colleagues, and community supporters in attendance. Department officials extended their congratulations and best wishes to the newly sworn chiefs and officers as they prepare to guide the department through 2026 with continued dedication to protecting life and property in the Bridgehampton community.
