January 10, 2026 — As the Bridgehampton Fire Department enters the new year, department leadership, officers, and members gathered to recognize Chief Tom Federico as he formally passed the chief’s hat, marking the conclusion of his six-year tenure leading the department. Chief Federico was commended for his unwavering commitment, leadership, and dedication to both the department and the Bridgehampton community. Department officials expressed sincere gratitude for the countless hours and steady guidance he provided throughout his service. Special recognition was also extended to his wife, Jeannie Federico, for her steadfast support during his time in office. In a statement, Chief Dillon Berkoski thanked Chief Federico for his contributions and wished him continued success in the next chapter of his life, emphasizing that his impact on the department will be lasting and deeply appreciated.
