Commercial Fire Alarm Brings Large Response to Bridge Street

On February 9, at 1:28 PM, the Windham Center Fire Department responded to a business fire alarm on Bridge Street in Willimantic. Dispatch reports indicated smoke coming from a building near the intersection of Mountain Street and Pleasant Street. Multiple fire and EMS units were assigned to investigate and manage the incident, including engine, ladder, rescue, and rapid-intervention resources. Firefighters worked to assess conditions, secure the building, and ensure scene safety.
