Afternoon House Fire Draws North Windham Response

Windham, CT — January 23 — At at 2:56 p.m., the North Windham Fire Department responded to a reported home building fire on Jeffrey Road East. Firefighters were dispatched after receiving reports of a fire inside a home and arrived to commence suppression and scene safety operations. Crews attempted to assess the situation, provide a water supply, and contain the fire while guaranteeing the safety of neighboring residents and rescuers.
