January 25, 2026 — The Cocoa Beach Fire Department gathered at Fire Station 1 to recognize the dedication, bravery, and service of its members during the department’s annual awards ceremony. The event highlighted outstanding achievements across the organization, honoring firefighters, paramedics, officers, and community members whose actions made a meaningful impact over the past year.

Awards presented included recognitions for life-saving actions in structure fires and ocean rescues, academic excellence, and leadership, such as Firefighter of the Year, Fire Officer of the Year, Paramedic of the Year, and distinguished and meritorious service honors.

The ceremony also served as a moment to acknowledge the families who support department members and the sacrifices made in service to the Cocoa Beach community.
