Dover Firefighters Assist Residents During Storm

Dover, MA — January 25th — The Dover Firefighters Association continued to operate during the snow storm, answering numerous calls and helping locals in difficult circumstances. Firefighters responded to storm-related occurrences throughout the community while operating on ice and snow-covered roads. According to fire officials, extreme weather frequently results in a higher frequency of calls and more risks for the public and rescuers.


In order for personnel to operate safely and effectively, residents were asked to exercise caution, refrain from making needless trips, and give emergency vehicles more room when using the roads. Throughout the storm, the Dover Firefighters Association kept an eye on the situation and offered support when required. In order to support emergency operations and keep responders and citizens safe during winter weather events, officials stressed the importance of public collaboration.
