One Extricated After Collision on SW College Road in Ocala

(OCALA, FL.) Feb. 8, 2022 – Ocala Fire Rescue's Engine 6 and Rescue 4 responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 4900 block of SW College Road at approximately 12:07 p.m.

Upon arrival, units found a white passenger van with moderate front damage and a gold mini-van with heavy damage to the driver's side. The driver of the mini-van needed extrication.

Using specialized tools, the crews unhinged the driver's door to gain access to the patient. The patient was immediately removed and transported to the hospital.

The two occupants of the passenger van were also taken to the hospital.

Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.
