Butts County Fire & Emergency Services Engages Students During Career Day at Jackson High School

February 3, 2026 — Butts County Fire & Emergency Services participated in Career Day at Jackson High School, thanks to an invitation from Butts County School System (BCSS), Jackson High School, and Dr. McKibben. Department representatives spent the day engaging with students, sharing insight into careers in fire and emergency medical services, and answering questions about training, responsibilities, and opportunities within public safety. Officials noted strong interest from students considering futures as Firefighters and EMTs and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to help inspire the next generation of public safety professionals.
