January 27, 2026 — Bulloch County Fire Department conducted a specialized training exercise Tuesday evening at the Ag Arena near the 301 South and Langston Chapel Road area as part of a Georgia Public Safety Training Center Pressurized Container Fire Control class. Residents traveling through the area may have observed large flames similar to those pictured; officials emphasized the activity was a controlled training evolution and not an emergency, and no 911 calls were necessary. The exercise allowed firefighters to safely practice managing high-risk pressurized container fire scenarios, strengthening operational readiness and ensuring crews remain prepared to respond effectively to complex fire incidents in the community. Department officials thanked the public for their understanding and continued support during the training.
