January 29, 2026 — Gainesville Fire Rescue crews responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Northwest 39th Avenue and Northwest 43rd Street. Firefighters arrived to find significant vehicle damage and one occupant trapped.
Crews quickly stabilized the scene, performed a safe extrication, and provided patient care. One individual was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
