Alachua County Fire Rescue Honors Kelly Dugger’s 36 Years of Service

February 3, 2026 — Alachua County Fire Rescue celebrated a milestone career on February 3, 2026, honoring Kelly Dugger for 36 years of dedicated service to the department and the community. The retirement celebration was held at Station 21 and brought together current personnel, retirees, family members, and friends for a morning of fellowship and reflection.


The event included a shared breakfast and heartfelt remarks recognizing Dugger’s long-standing commitment, professionalism, and impact on generations of firefighters.


Special thanks were extended to Local 3852 for sponsoring the event and helping make the celebration memorable. Dugger’s career leaves a lasting legacy within Alachua County Fire Rescue, and the department wished her well in retirement and future endeavors.
