On January 30th, the City of Geneva Fire Department supported local ambulance services by clearing a way for the removal of a patient from a property under snow conditions. Firefighters arrived on the site and cleared snow to provide safe passage from the home to the waiting ambulance. Snow and ice can make patient movement difficult, posing dangers to both patients and responders. Firefighters collaborated with EMS staff to improve footing and facilitate a seamless transfer while keeping the area safe.
