BRADENTON, FL - Just before midnight on February 8th, Southern Manatee Fire & Cedar Hammock Fire were dispatched to a reported fire in Casa Loma Mobile Home Park. On arrival, heavy smoke and fire was coming from the back of the structure. First units found a well-involved shed with extension into the main structure. Due to the lack of hydrants, a second-alarm was hit for water shuttle. One occupant of the house was checked by EMS. The shed required foam to extinguish. The Red Cross was called in to assist the displaced residents.
