Sturbridge, MA — January 10th — Early on Saturday morning, Sturbridge Firefighters Local 170 responded to a car accident that needed emergency rescue and medical assistance. After arriving on the scene, Ambulance 1 and Rescue 1 started hazard mitigation, traffic control, and patient evaluation.
Ambulance 1 assessed one occupant who had a minor injury and took them to Harrington Memorial Hospital for more testing. To address road hazards and support overall scene safety, Rescue 1 stayed on the scene for the whole incident.
