Fire Investigators Assist at Orchard Estates Incident

Hinsdale, NY — January 17th — The Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported dumpster fire at the Orchard Estates Apartment Complex at 9:49 p.m. on January 16th. Units arrived on scene and confirmed an ongoing dumpster fire, advising dispatch of the situation upon arrival. Hinsdale Car 1 and Engine 8 responded to the location and tried to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to other buildings and surrounding property. Onondaga County Fire Investigators also arrived to assist and assess the situation.
