Shrewsbury, MA — January 8th — The Shrewsbury, Massachusetts Fire Department's Engine 3 is responding to a car accident near Flynn's Truck Stop on Route 20. After arriving, firefighters assessed the situation and controlled traffic while collaborating with Shrewsbury Police and other emergency medical services to secure the area. Drivers in the vicinity should anticipate delays and be on the lookout for emergency equipment and people on the route.

Responders prioritize scene safety because Route 20 is a busy highway with a lot of commercial traffic. Drivers are still being reminded by public safety officials to shift over and slow down while approaching emergency scenes. Until activities are finished and the road is safe, crews will stay on site.
