Extrication Performed in Three-Car Crash in Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY, MA - On January 5th, the Shrewsbury Fire Department was called to a three-car collision involving entrapment on Route 20. One person was locked inside a car when Engine 3 arrived. Westborough EMS paramedics were able to start patient treatment after firefighters secured the area and finished the extrication. Two ambulances took injured occupants to nearby hospitals, while four individuals received on-scene treatment. As personnel attempted to clear the road, Shrewsbury Police helped with traffic management.
