Community Members Complete CPR Training at Baldwin County Fire Headquarters

January 13, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue: Members of the Harrisburg Collaborative Group, along with local residents, gathered at Baldwin County Fire Headquarters on Tuesday to take part in a hands-on CPR training session aimed at strengthening community emergency response capabilities. The training, conducted in partnership with the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners, focused on teaching participants essential cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques that can be used to assist individuals experiencing medical emergencies until first responders arrive. Using CPR manikins, attendees practiced proper chest compressions and response procedures under the guidance of instructors, reinforcing the importance of quick, effective action in life-threatening situations. Officials with Baldwin County Fire Rescue praised the strong turnout and engagement, emphasizing that programs like this help empower residents with practical skills that save lives and strengthen neighborhood resilience.
