Lancaster, MA — January 7th — Following the death of a police officer in the Town of Uxbridge earlier today, the Lancaster Fire Department offered their solidarity. The loss has affected the emergency services community as a whole, including the law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services departments that collaborate closely on a daily basis. A public safety officer's death has an impact not just on the agency in question but also on nearby agencies and the communities they serve.


Police and firefighters frequently work together during crises, training sessions, and community events.
