Dudley, MA — January 3rd — The Dudley Fire Department responded to a request for mutual aid in Webster. In order to support the Webster Fire Department, units from District 2201 were sent to the vicinity of 6 Lakeside Avenue. While Webster firemen oversaw operations at the scene, Dudley units worked in support roles, contributing extra personnel and supplies.

This kind of mutual aid response is typical in central Massachusetts and helps guarantee that emergencies are managed effectively while preserving coverage in other communities. Fire stations were able to share personnel and equipment as needed because of the coordinated response. There were no recorded injuries involving Dudley employees.
