Sarasota County held its annual Fire Fest at Carlton Reserve which has been closed since Hurricane Ian. This event is free to all participants, many hands on things for the younger crowd to do. The main theme of the event is the benefit of Prescribed Fire. The County Burn Team did two fire demos for event goers.
